The Bell is approximately four miles from Maldon and has a public bar and restaurant bar, a large car park, childrens play area, covered patio overlooking a large fish pond. There is darts on Monday and Wednesday nights. Monthly clay shoot on the last Sunday of every month, shot gun licence must be brought. The church summer fete is held here in May. A summer firework display and live music held on the first Saturday in August £12.50 a ticket. Bonfire night on the closest Sunday to the 5th November. Hog Roast last Sunday of every month, May to September.
