The Carpenters Arms is run by Richard and Judy Henfrey and has the atmosphere and welcome of a local country pub in the town.  Children welcome day time but there is no play area.  Seating in the front and smoking area to the side.

The beers available are Greene King IPA, Adnams Bitter, Sharps Doom Bar, Carlsberg, Fosters, Stella, Kronenbourg and Guinness.

Light snacks are served 1200 - 1400.
