The Hurdlemakers Arms has a bar and a restaurant area and probably the biggest beer garden in Essex with a childrens play area.

They hold quiz nights 1st Monday of the month, HAGARDS meetings 3rd Mondays of the month and MG Cars meetings 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

They have regular live entertainment.  They also have darts teams.
