The White Lion is run by Geoff & Sarah Hawkins.  It is a classic old fashioned English public house with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and enclosed garden.  It has a pool table which is free on Mondays and they show most major football events.

 

There is also a large function hall with a separate bar for larger music events and private functions.

 

The beers available are Greene King IPA, Mighty Oak Maldon Gold, John Smiths, Carlsberg, Fosters, Stella, Kronenbourg and Guinness.
