- To operate and personalise your Gray's Trail experience.

- To track your progress in the pub trail challenge and enter you into prize draws where applicable.

- To verify pub visits by confirming your device is within a reasonable distance of the venue at the time of logging.

- To improve the app and fix technical issues.

4. Location Data

We request access to your device's location solely for the purpose of verifying that you are at a Gray & Sons pub when logging a visit. Specifically:

- Location is only accessed when you actively attempt to log a visit.

- We use your location to check proximity to the pub - we do not store your precise GPS coordinates.

- Location is never tracked in the background or when the app is not in use.

- You may still log visits using a venue passcode if you prefer not to share your location.

Your visit data (pub name, date, and star rating) may be visible to other app users in aggregate or leader board views unless you mark individual visits as private.

We retain your account and visit data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Settings page.
